THE PRIORY NDANDA

The Missionary Benedictine Sisters in Ndanda, Tanzania are part of an international group of around 1350 Benedictine women with 26 different nationalities called The Congregation of Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing. They live, pray and work in all continents and are organized in priories. The link to the website of the Congregation is: www.osb-tutzing.it.

In the Priory of Ndanda 34 Sisters, from Tanzania and 5 other countries are living according to the Rule of St. Benedict (†547 A.D.) and the Constitutions of the Congregation.
We live in community, pray and work together and share our goods, both material and spiritual. We wish to make our communities places of God-seeking, divine praise and human encounter, and of witness to the presence of the Risen Lord in all that we are and in all that we do.
